Biomechanical manipulator BPM-01
BPM-01 is a mobile biomechanical manipulator designed for ergonomic and safe handling of loads in manufacturing, assembly and logistics operations. It combines intuitive manual guidance of the load with electrically assisted lifting and powered travel, significantly reducing the physical strain on the operator while enabling precise and smooth positioning.
The device is equipped with two independently guided arms. The weight of the arms, as well as the weight of the handled load, is compensated by lifting servomotors. The maximum load capacity is 30 kg, with each arm capable of handling up to 15 kg. The vertical operating range of the arms is approximately 620 to 1,750 mm above floor level. The operator stands on an integrated working platform and controls the main functions of the device using ergonomically positioned joysticks located on the arms. From a single operating position, the operator can control the lifting movement of each arm, the travel of the manipulator and electrically actuated gripping devices. Proportional control ensures smooth and precise load handling.
Mobility is provided by an integrated electric drive system with two independently driven rear wheels. The manipulator can travel forwards and backwards, steer and rotate about its vertical axis, allowing loads to be transferred efficiently between individual workstations.
Depending on the specific application, the BPM-01 can be equipped with various types of interchangeable gripping devices, such as angular or kinematic clamping grippers. This allows the equipment to be adapted to the shape of the product and the required handling method. Power is supplied by an integrated LiFePO4 battery, eliminating the need for a permanent connection to the mains during normal operation. Charging is carried out from a standard 230 V / 50 Hz mains supply.
The BPM-01 is particularly suitable for workplaces where loads must be handled repeatedly and would be physically demanding to move manually, while the use of a conventional crane or fixed manipulator would be impractical due to space or operational constraints. The device combines mobility, precision, ergonomics and intuitive operation in a single compact solution.
