Double-shoe and double-spring brakes are used for braking of crane and crane trolley travelling gears. They have infinitely variable braking moment from 0 to its maximum.
Travel brake
In the top part of the brake there is a system of draw bars, springs and levers, on which the brake shoes with asbestos-free material lining are fixed. At these brake, the electro-hydraulic device ensures the function of brake-releasing device.
Drum shoe brake consists of the base, levers swing mounted by means of pivots, and electro-hydraulic brake-releasing device. The brake shoes with lining, that transmit the braking force of springs with lever transmission to the brake drum, are fixed by means of pivots to levers.
Alternatively it is possible to offer the brake with the base, adapted for fixing to the gear box, which is appropriately equipped for this.
