Crane lift components

Lifting brakes

The lifting brakes consist of lever mechanism and a pair of shoes, which by means of electro-hydraulic releasing device produce the brake action on rotating brake drum. The bearing surfaces of shoes are coated with suitable friction material, selected with regard to the specific location of brake.

The use of this brake, mainly at technological cranes, fundamentally reduces the need of service works, through which the increasing of crane operating ability, limiting of breakdowns in technology and crane down times are achieved. Last but not least it considerably contributes to the increasing of work safety.
