For this project we carried out a technically demanding modification and relocation of the bridge magneto crane, which included its relocation, span extension and modernisation of selected parts.
In the initial phase, we ensured the production and delivery of new machine parts and accessories necessary for subsequent design modifications. At the same time, the complete electrical part of the project was carried out - the preparation of a new electrical design, the manufacture of new switchboards for the bridges and new wiring for the external connections on the crane, while the existing cat wiring and magnet switchboard were retained.
After the existing crane was dismantled from its original location, the equipment was moved to the new hall where the construction itself was modified. This included lengthening the bridge span, repositioning the crane cab, modifying the platforms, platforms and wiring, as well as modifying the running and lifting mechanisms and adapting the cross-rails to the new operational layout.
After all structural and electrical modifications were completed, the modified crane was assembled on the new crane runway, the mechanical and electrical parts were completed, the inverters were revived, functional tests were carried out and relabelled according to the new span and configuration.
Finally, the prescribed tests were carried out in accordance with the applicable standards and regulations, the relevant report was drawn up and the crane was successfully put into full operation.
The result is an upgraded machine adapted to the new workplace that retains the robustness of the original design but offers improved operating range, greater flexibility and reliability in handling loads.
