For the gantry gantry crane we have prepared a complete design documentation, including the design of the entire structure, travel and lifting mechanisms, electrical equipment and power supply system. The project was prepared in the scope of the documentation for the building permit and supplemented by a technical report with a detailed description of the function, parameters and technical solutions of individual parts of the equipment.
Part of the processing was a technical specification for the subsequent commissioning of the implementation, defining the requirements for performance, dimensional and material parameters, partial equipment, environmental influences and corrosion protection. The aim was to create a detailed design to enable a smooth transition to the production and assembly phase without the need for major additional modifications.
As part of the design work, we carried out a survey of the area where the crane is expected to be installed, and then prepared drawings of the overall assembly, including details of the individual nodes of the structure and drives. The documentation included functional calculations and dimensioning of all movement mechanisms, static calculations of the steel structure and machine nodes, as well as calculation designs of components - wheels, gearboxes, rope drums, brakes, bearings, connections and lines.
We have also prepared a list of all drives with description and type designation, an overview of sub-deliveries, a text part with a detailed description of the equipment, and a design of electrical equipment including a demand for an electrical project. The electrical design included wiring diagrams of the electrical components, power supply requirements and installation conditions.
Part of the delivery included the determination of load conditions and pressure effects on the building structures, including static calculations and drawing design of the travelling beams.
