The overhead crane is the most frequently used type of lifting device in practice. Its characteristic feature is a supporting steel structure – a bridge made up of one or more main beams, at the ends of which are crossbeams with travelling wheels mounted. The crane can thus reliably serve the entire floor plan of the hall in both longitudinal and transverse directions.
We design overhead cranes according to the specific application, type of loads and handling mode required. They can be equipped with various types of crane hoists and gripping devices from our portfolio. We focus on safe operation, clear controls and the possibility of subsequent modernisations during the equipment's lifecycle.
A special group of overhead cranes are casting cranes, often with capacities of hundreds of tonnes, designed for handling molten metal.
