C-háky používáme především pro manipulaci se svitky, prstenci a podobnými břemeny, kde je potřeba rychlé a přehledné zavěšení bez pomocných úchytů.

Konstrukci vždy přizpůsobujeme rozměrům a hmotnosti břemen i možnostem jeřábu a haly. Řešíme tvar nosné části, vyvážení C-háku, ochranu stykových ploch, ochranu okolí a bezpečnou manipulaci bez rizika pádu svitku.

Důraz klademe na jednoduché a jednoznačné uchopení, aby měl jeřábník dobrý přehled o poloze břemene a mohl pracovat plynule i v úzkých manipulačních prostorech. Cílem je bezpečná manipulace, omezení poškození materiálu a stabilní provoz s minimem zásahů do technologie.
